After the adult walkers Steven (2013) and Anna (2014) it was time for the youth. In 2015 the little fellow was added to the family thats still growing today. Kareltje is the symbol for all the boys and girls that completed the Four Days Marches at young age.
The name 'Kareltje' refers to keizer Karel de Grote (Charlemagne), a historic ruler to wich Nijmegen still commits his name.
Kareltje is our own creation and is casted in pewter.
